Dr. Nicole Hartsough is a graduate from the University of Illinois College of Medicine. She completed her dermatology residency at the University of Illinois College of Medicine at Chicago. Dr. Hartsough is board certified with the American Board of Dermatology, and is a fellow of the American Academy of Dermatology. She also is a Clinical Assistant Professor of Dermatology at the University of Illinois, and is a member of The Women's Dermatologic Society. She has written past publications which include Spiking Fever Secondary to Hydroxyurea in Archives of Internal Medicine, and Multiple Pilomatrixornas in Journal of Pediatric Dermatology. Dr. Hartsough had always dreamed of having her own practice and moved into her own office in May 2005. Skin cancer prevention and detection has always been her area of special interest. She has organized the Rockford area free skin cancer screening clinic sponsored by OSF and the American Academy of Dermatology that is held each May. Treatment of eczema, psoriasis, and acne are also strong areas of interest.

Dr. Hartsough enjoys gardening (of course while wearing sunscreen), reading, and making jewelry. Her great joys are helping her patients, as well as being with her husband, three children and two cats.

Brittany Zimmerman is a board certified and licensed Physician Assistant who has received specialized training in dermatology. She graduated from the University of Wisconsin, and received her Masters of Physician Assistant degree in 2006 from Samuel Merritt College in Oakland California. She has certifications in Advance Cardiac Life Support, Basic Life Support, and Telemetry.

Brittany is licensed and qualified to perform dermatological examination, diagnose, treat, and prescribe appropriate medical therapy for all of your dermatologic needs. She is dedicated to providing comprehensive dermatologic care for patients of all ages. Along with providing medical treatments Brittany is skilled in various cosmetic procedures including but not limited to Botox, Laser treatments and Juvederm. In her spare time Brittany enjoys, swimming, boating, playing the cello and walking her dog.
